How Notedly handles your information

What we hold. Your email address and name; the child's first name and council you enter; the dated events you record; the documents you choose to upload; letters and questions you create in the app; and your subscription status. We do not ask for your child's surname, date of birth or address, and we suggest you leave them out of notes.

Where it lives. All personal data is stored in Google Cloud's London region (europe-west2). Documents are read by an AI model hosted in the same region to produce checks, letters and answers. Your documents are never added to any shared index or used to train models.

Public law only in the search index. The legal corpus Notedly searches (Acts, Regulations, the Code of Practice, tribunal guidance) is public and contains no personal data.

Who sees it. You, and the people you invite to a case. Notedly staff access data only to fix a problem you have reported. Stripe processes payments; we never see card details.

Your rights. You can export or delete a case at any time from the app (deletion arriving shortly), and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@notedly.co.uk. Notedly is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration in progress).
